BK-One follows up his "Rádio Do Canibal" and "Bones & Beeker" projects with an unusual collection of adventurous music. "A Blackbox Recovery" assembles 15 songs that the producer/multi-instrumentalist recorded in the Spring and Summer of 2020 using the 1010 Music Blackbox and a backpack full of battery-powered music toys.

These experiments in sound were an early-quarantine coping mechanism, and none of them were originally meant to be shared. While everything around BK was breaking, he began an early-morning ritual of recording something entirely new each morning. Without any thought of an audience or destination for his creations, the producer allowed himself to go in some strange and vulnerable directions that he'd never before explored. This extremely limited run of records shares his favorite compositions from that period.
